Join Columbia SoCal for our 2020 Columbia Connects (virtual edition) event! Chat with fellow alumni in Netflix Party* or Amazon Watch Party* about our selection of curated films, celebrating Columbia filmmakers and directors. We will also have Zoom rooms available for anyone who wishes to chat about the films aloud!
Film options include:
- The Last Black Man in San Francisco (screenwriter - Robert Richert '13SOA; producer - Dede Gardner '90CC)
- Low Tide (writer/director - Kevin McMullin '14SOA)
- Becoming (co-producer - Maureen Ryan, faculty)
- Dick Johnson is Dead (several faculty and alumni from SOA)
*We will use the Netflix Party plug-in for Google Chrome and the native Amazon Watch Party to sync our watching experiences. Active subscription accounts for the corresponding services are required to watch along. Users must watch from a desktop computer to use the functionality.
Columbia Connects: Throughout the autumn, university-wide alumni will be attending events around the world to celebrate their alumni connections while welcoming new graduates to CAA club regions.
