Columbia SoCal's art series continues with another look inside an LA-based artist's studio. Join us for a private tour of the Venice studio of artist Charles Arnoldi, hosted by art collector Liora Powers CC'98. Alumni will enjoy a private guided tour with the artist himself. Come speak to Chuck about what inspires him and his creative process.
Arnoldi’s work is exhibited in the collections of most major museums, including the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, The National Gallery, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, The Hammer Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Norton Simon Museum. Regarding the artist, LA Modern says:
"One of the most protean figures in the contemporary Los Angeles art world, Charles Arnoldi is a painter, sculptor, and printmaker acclaimed for brightly colored compositions that straddle the margins of sculpture and painting; abstraction and representation."
Space is very limited, and we expect this event to sell out quickly, so RSVP today!
Non-Columbia +1s are welcome; please include them in your RSVP count.
