Join fellow Columbia alumni at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night charity walk to help end cancer.
Each person who signs up to walk with the Columbia SoCal team will get a personal webpage to raise funds for blood cancer research and therapies.
Registration starts at 3:00pm with free lantern pick up for everyone. Every walker who raises $100 or more is a Champion For Cures and will receive a Light The Night t-shirt and a wristband which entitles the walker to food. Opening ceremonies start at dusk ~5:30pm with the one mile walk right after. A leisurely pace is the norm on this walk, which takes under an hour to complete.
Those not walking will be able to support the fight against blood cancer by donating on the team’s website.
