Spend a restorative Saturday hiking in Topanga and breathing in some nature at a family-friendly event curated by Columbia alumni in the health professions. We will meet at Topanga Living Cafe at 10am and then at 10:30 head up to "the labyrinth", which is an easy to moderate short hike with beautiful viewpoints of the Santa Monica Mountains and the ocean and a human-made stone labyrinth at the top to perhaps journey into inner reflection. After we will reconvene at Topanga Living Cafe around noon for a healthy bite and more time to hang out. Please wear walking/ hiking attire, sun protection/hat, and hydration. There is limited cell service for some carriers once on the hike.
The goal of this morning is to heal our healers with the beauty of our local nature, build community, and enjoy good food together, and for all alumni to come together to share stories, inspirations, experiences, and relax together.
NB: There’s parking on Topanga Canyon Road near the cafe where there is a short walk to the cafe. The hike area also has limited parking. Please consider taking a Lyft/Uber or carpooling.
