September 2021 marked the 10th anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, one of the most important movements against social and economic inequalities in our generation. To commemorate this event, the NorCal and SoCal Chapters of Columbia Alumni Association are hosting a virtual, interactive reading and discussion of a new book by Michael Levitin (JRN '02), Generation Occupy: Reawakening American Democracy, released on September 14th. This event will be moderated by Michael Stoll, Executive Director of the San Francisco Public Press.
