Note: Since Exposition Park offers so much, you don't have to join us the whole day. Feel free to arrange your day as you please.
Summer is in full swing so it's time for more gardens! This is a great opportunity to bring the children or grandchildren (no dogs) for a day of nature, education, and fun.
We'll start by exploring the Natural History Museum's Nature Gardens. We should be able to take advantage of an educator on hand at Level G outside at the pond deck or bird viewing platform in the Nature Gardens.
Then we'll break for lunch at the California Science Center's food court where we can have casual conversation and get to know other alumni better.
We'll continue enjoying our day at Exposition Park's Rose Garden, possibly the best in our region.
Admission: The Natural History Museum's Nature Gardens is accessible with a regular museum ticket, which is $18. The Rose Garden is free of charge and open until dusk.
Parking: Paid parking is available in a number of lots/structures at Exposition Park for $20 (sorry, this is LA).
