Columbia at Home | Documenting Women: A Conversation with Betsy West and Julie Cohen

Betsy West and Julie Cohen ’89JRN are Academy Award-nominated directors and producers who specialize in narrative documentary films about history-making trailblazers.

In a program particularly relevant to Women’s History Month, Cohen and West will discuss their films, including the two most recent: Julia, examining the life of cook Julia Child, and My Name is Paul Murray, profiling activist Pauli Murray.

They will also share insights on the making of RBG, their 2018 Oscar-nominated film about Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (available to stream on Netflix).
