CAA Chicago | The Epicurean and Opera: Italian Cuisine and Il Tabarro/Pagliacci

This event will take place virtually at 4:30pm PDT/6:30pm CDT. Not in PDT or CDT? Check your time zone.

Mangiare per vivere e non vivere per mangiare. Join CAA Chicago co-hosts Daniel Balsam and Chris Stacey for an evening of food, operatic highlights, and discussion. Support your favorite Italian restaurant and order take-out or delivery for the evening of the event. Make your own Italian dish from home or just join us regardless of what you are eating. Daniel and Chris are ordering food from the Riccardo Trattoria. All are invited to attend whether you make your own dishes (Italian or not), order food from your local favorite Italian restaurant, or get food from the Riccardo Trattoria.

After introductory remarks about the selected cuisine and opera, we watch roughly 20 minutes of clips from the opera and eat. Afterward, we talk about the restaurants we selected or the dishes we made, what we ate, the opera, and all other things cultural.
