Home | Columbia University Alumni Association of Southern California

Columbia SoCal is one of the most active, successful, and best organized Columbia alumni clubs in the world.  We connect nearly 5,000 registered alumni members throughout 6 Southern California regions, including Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and LA Counties.

To best represent the varied interests of SoCal alumni from all of the different schools at Columbia University, we offer a wide range of events.  Some examples of past events have been family beach clean-ups, engaging speaker events, and private tours of the LEED certified RAND offices in Santa Monica.  Columbia SoCal has also provided scholarships to Columbia for local students and currently provides stipends to student summer interns.

Being in existence since the 1930s, Columbia SoCal became incorporated as a non-profit in the 1970s.  And WC Fields, Jr. was our treasurer at one time.  Currently we have 6 officers and 13 Board members who look forward to meeting you and seeing how best we can serve you!
