About me
I graduated from the Columbia University School of Social Work MSW program class of 2017. My method of concentration is Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice within the Health/Mental Health/Disabilities System. I would like to use my interpersonal skills and life experiences into areas of work that focus on innovation and radical change while providing a social justice aspect. I am interested in diversity and inclusion, including awareness and action towards issues of power, oppression, race, and privilege.

I recently relocated to the Los Angeles area from NYC. I am looking for stable housing and job opportunities that are a good fit for me.

I was born and raised in the South Bronx and joined the Navy shortly after graduating high school. My time in service granted me the opportunity to receive my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Jacksonville University in 2005 and my Master's in Social Work from Columbia.

At CSSW in NYC, my first year internship was as a School Social Work Intern at a middle school in Harlem under the organization ENACT. ENACT works with students in high-need middle and high schools throughout all five boroughs in NYC, helping to improve social and emotional skill-building through drama therapy techniques. My second year internship was at the Manhattan VA Medical Center as a Medical Social Work Intern for the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). I worked with veterans in a triage capacity providing referrals and resources, had experience with individual therapy, advocacy, and more.
