Since graduating, I have been creating opportunities and developing solutions that align individuals, foundations, corporations, and nonprofit organizations for the greater good of society, while generating a return on investment. Previously, I managed a $15M grant making portfolio at the Ford Foundation and served as the Executive Director of an Educational Foundation with the City University of New York. My executive leadership roles span issue areas that include diversity and inclusiveness, health, education, and the environment.

As President and CEO of the African American Board Leadership Institute, I am responsible for leading the organization, scaling operations, and expanding our geographic footprint so we are empowered to be the model for training African American professionals to serve on corporate boards, nonprofit governing boards, and government commissions across the country.
