The Ivy/Seven Sisters’ Women are presenting an exciting evening meeting on Thursday, September 21, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at a private home in Beverly Hills.
On September 21st, from 6:30 to 9:30 the Ivy/Seven Sisters' Women will be presenting its first meeting. Our speaker for the evening is multi-media journalist and author Farai Chideya.
Farai asserts in her latest book—Trust: Reaching the 100 Million Missing Voters that black-and-white thinking has replaced the necessary framework for debating complex issues in a pluralistic society.
Farai Chideya is a correspondent/host for NPR's News & Notes with Ed Gordon. A graduate of Harvard and one of Newsweek’s Century Club of 100 people to watch, her commentaries have appeared on ABC News, CNN, Fox, MSNBC and BET.
So join us for stimulating, pluralistic conversation—not to mention
good food and wine—at our first Vine event of the season.
