MARK R. GOLDSTON, Kellogg Class of 1978, has been Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President and a director of United Online since September 2001. In this special speaker and networking event, Goldston will detail the building of the Net Zero brand from startup to one of the Top 100 brands in the nation. Recently, he contributed to “Kellogg on Branding” with a chapter entitled, “Using Positioning to Build a Megabrand.” Mattel, home to nearly 20 Kellogg alums in the LA area, will host the event and provide refreshments. Current Kellogg students on their Media Trek are also expected to attend.

United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: UNTD) is a leading provider of consumer Internet subscription services through a number of brands including NetZero, NetZero Voice, Juno and Classmates. Previously, Goldston was President, CEO and a director of Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp, President and Chief Operating Officer of L.A. Gear, Chief Marketing Officer of Reebok, President of Faberge USA, Inc. and Vice President of Marketing Worldwide for fragrance and skincare at Revlon, Inc. Mr. Goldston is the author of a business book entitled “The Turnaround Prescription” and is the named inventor on 13 separate U.S. patents for products such as inflatable pump athletic shoes and lighted footwear.
