Columbia/Harvard at CicLAvia

Columbia SoCal and the Havard Club of Southern California are teaming up for the next installment of CicLAvia on the historic strech of Wilshire from DTLA to Koreatown.

Inspired by Bogotá’s weekly ciclovía, CicLAvia temporarily closes streets to car traffic and opens them to Los Angelenos to use as a public park. Free for all, CicLAvia connects communities to each other across an expansive city, creating a safe place to bike, walk, skate, roll, and dance through Los Angeles.

Columbia and Harvard alumni will gather at 9am at Pitchoun Bakery & Cafe in Pershing Square for coffee and breakfast. At 10am, we'll grab our bikes, skateboards, skates, or walking shoes and join up with the main event one block away on 7th Street. You can stay with the main group or go off and do your own thing--it's up to you.

CicLAvia is a family-friendly event. Kids, spouses, and friends are welcome to join. For full details of the event, including route map, visit the CicLAvia website. Be sure to wear your Columbia or Harvard gear!
