Salsa Dancing, Lesson, & Cocktails in Newport Beach
Columbia SoCal is joining the Harvard Club of SoCal for a night of at Tapas Restaurant for dinner, cocktails, Salsa lesson, and dancing.
Join us for a fun Latin evening at the main salsa dancing venue in Newport Beach, together with dinner and an introductory dance lesson.
Time: Friday, April 11th, 8:00 PM
Location: Tapas Restaurant, 4253 Martingale Way, Newport Beach, CA 92660
Come network and dance with fellow Columbia, and Harvard, alumni over mojitos at Tapas Flavors of Spain, a Spanish restaurant that turns into a Latin dance venue in the evening. We will meet around 8pm for light dinner at a reserved table, followed by an introductory salsa lesson at 9pm. Around 10pm the floor opens to general dancing. The basic step can be learned in the same evening, and you can also watch other people dance from the table. You may also skip the dinner and join us after 8pm, e.g. a bit before 9pm for the lesson or around 10pm for open dancing.
Cost: Free (Please RSVP below), plus $5 for the salsa lesson paid at the venue. Cover charge of around $8 after 10pm.
