Jessica Alexander, author of Chasing Chaos: My Decade In and Out of Humanitarian Affairs, will be in Pasadena at the end of this month for a book signing. She is an alumna of SIPA, '04, and also received her Masters in Public Health from the Mailman School. She currently lives in the New York City area and is an adjunct professor at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health.
Her book discusses her work since graduating from SIPA in the humanitarian aid industry. In it she chronicles her work in Rwanda, Sudan, tsunami affected Sri Lanka and Indonesia, Sierra Leone and Haiti. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet the author for a reading, discussion, and signing.
