Columbia SoCal Book Club: Sabrina by Nick Drnaso

Come join fellow alumni for our next book club event to discuss graphic novel and crime fiction selection "Sabrina" by Nick Drnaso. The first graphic novel ever to be nominated for the Man Booker Prize, "Sabrina" is the story of what happens when an intimate, "everyday" tragedy collides with the appetites of the 24-hour news cycle; when somebody’s lived trauma becomes another person’s gossip; when it becomes fodder for social media, fake news, conspiracy theorists, maniacs, the bored.

The event will be hosted by Linda McCauley '03LAW and Brent Peich '01EMBA. Please register by Friday, April 5.

Contact Emily Burg [email protected] with suggestions for future book club selections or if you'd like to host a future book club meeting.

Note: CAA SoCal book club readers can purchase their copies of "Sabrina" for a 15% discount from Skylight Books and a 20% discount from Book Soup and Vroman's Bookstore.  Tell the bookseller about your CAA affiliation to get the discount.
